Looking for a walk that combines nature and the discovery of a remarkable heritage? Then head for the Monts d'Arrée. The Ecomuseum invites you to discover the rural life of yesteryear in the heart of the Monts d'Arrée. A visit to two remarkable sites, the village of Kerouat and the Maison Cornec, will plunge you into the life of yesteryear, at the foot of Mont Saint-Michel. The remarkably well-preserved village of Kerouat (Commana) bears witness to the daily life of a 19th-century milling family. In the heart of the village of Saint-Rivoal, the Maison Cornec, a small manor house built in 1702, has been preserved in its original state. It is part of a farm complex comprising stables, cowsheds, sheepfold and bread ovens.

Moulins de Kerouat - COMMANA
Maisons Cornec et Bothorel - SAINT-RIVOAL
In Commana, the hamlet of Kerouat grew up around the first mill built in 1610. The two mills, furnished houses, outbuildings and discovery trails bear witness to the daily life of a milling family in the 19th century.
In Saint-Rivoal, the Cornec house dates back to 1702 and has been preserved in its original state. Next door, the Bothorel house bears witness to the development of the area up until the 1950s.
