Broennou chapel

Why take advantage?

(also known as Chapelle Saint Eveltoc)
Two stones bearing the dates 1605 (in the courtyard) and 1608 (west wall of the enclosure) date the construction of the church that preceded the current chapel. After Broënnou became part of Landéda, the church fell into disrepair. In the 1830s, the town council decided to make the church a chapel, as an annex to the Landéda parish church. Gradually abandoned, the chapel threatened to fall into ruin, and the commune decided to rebuild it in the 19th century, reusing the bell tower, the small bull's eye on the gable and the east window.
