The village of Ménéham

This former village of customs officers and fishermen is an atypical site. After visiting the museum on the village's history, you can sample the famous local Kig ha farz. Stroll past the souvenir store, and if you feel like it, buy a pretty postcard in the colors of Meneham so that you can go home with your head (and suitcase) full of memories. To round off the day, you can admire the magnificent sunset reflected on the icy blue of the sea from Meneham's long beach. This magnificent setting is a must-see, whatever the season.

Why take advantage?

The Meneham site is nestled in the rocks of the Côte des Légendes, facing the English Channel.
This hamlet of Kerlouan was home to soldiers, customs officers and peasant-fishermen.
Today, this former village of thatched cottages is home to a Maison de Territoire with temporary exhibitions and local produce, an inn, a gîte d'étape open to all, craft workshops and museographic areas devoted to the daily life of the former inhabitants and the defense of the coastline.
In just a few years, the village of Meneham has become a "must-see" on the north coast of Finistère.

Free access to the village every day, all year round.
Free admission.
Opening times for museum areas and craftsmen.
