Saint-Sébastien chapel
Why take advantage?
The terrible plague epidemic of 1640 was the direct cause of the chapel's construction. Construction of the chapel began on February 8, 1641. Many parishioners, and even outsiders, contributed free of charge. However, due to the frequent burials of plague victims, construction progressed very slowly, and was not completed until 1644. The Saint-Sébastien chapel was restored in 1785, and again in 1819, using the ruins of the Notre-Dame de Troberou chapel.
The chapel has been communally-owned since 1905.
