Take care of yourself!

The tour is not suitable for visitors with walking difficulties, cardio-respiratory problems or other medical contraindications. Prefer to stay downstairs? Push open the door to the farmhouse, and a virtual tour awaits you!

Tips for explorers

  1. Don't forget to bundle up!
Depending on the weather, bring a windbreaker or raincoat, a cap, sunscreen and a bottle of water. If you feel a little hungry, or a little thirsty, there's a small restaurant in the farmhouse where you can get your strength back!
  2. During my stopover, I'll keep an eye on the children.
Children must be supervised by an adult throughout the visit, whether on the Île Vierge or in the lighthouse.
  3. What can I do with my dog?
Pets are not allowed in the lighthouse. If you wish to visit the lighthouse, remember to bring a companion so that you can keep your pet company outside and take turns visiting the lighthouse. Your 4-legged friend can accompany you as you explore the island, as long as he or she is on a leash and keeps a safe distance from the birds.

A fragile ecosystem!

In order to preserve it, please respect the recommendations of the Conservatoire du Littoral, by staying on the paths and not removing any plants or pebbles that protect the island from erosion.

The farmhouse

Annexed to the two lighthouses, the farmhouse now houses a small museum on the history of the island. For those who prefer to stay downstairs, a virtual tour of the site is available. There's also a souvenir store and a small catering area, where you can recharge your batteries after a long day of sea air!

Collector friends

L'île Vierge is part of the large collection of Paris coins. You can find them in all tourist offices and in the island store.
