Theater: "César

After the success of Marius and Fanny, director and actor Jean-Claude Baudracco returns to Plabennec with his actors to perform the third and final part of Marcel Pagnol's Marseille Trilogy: César.
20 years later, Césariot, raised at great expense by the generous Panisse, graduates 1st in his class from the Ecole Polytechnique. After Panisse's funeral, he learns that Panisse is not his real father, and that his progenitor is a certain Marius, described to him more or less as a renegade.
To find out for sure, he decides to meet him incognito and, posing as a journalist, gathers information from his entourage in Toulon. During a one-on-one fishing trip in the calanques, he discovers the sensitive, gentle and dreamy man that is his father, but the counter-simulations of Fernand, his associate with a dubious criminal record, once again sow doubt in his heart...
