"My adventure begins in Conques, in northern Aveyron, then crosses the beautiful listed villages of the upper Lot valley to "cycle" along the roads and paths of Aubrac, meeting the people. With words that roll off their tongues, the old-timers recount their often harsh lives, their passion for the land, the animals and the beautiful Aubracs they take to the summer pastures at the end of May: intimate, authentic and delicious accounts. To understand Aubrac is also to follow its many hiking trails, including the St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route that crosses it; it's to discover the beauty of the landscape, the peaceful villages, the customs.
