La Recouvrance, a replica of an 1817 aviso, was originally designed to transmit urgent letters and notices. This exceptional sailboat offers a unique sailing experience. Embark for a few hours or a few days to discover sailing aboard this emblematic schooner of the city of Brest. You can also take part in maneuvers and life on board, if you feel like it! Sailing from May to October.
Why take advantage?
La Recouvrance is a replica of an aviso, an early 19th century military vessel used to transmit urgent messages to the coasts of Africa and the West Indies.
Today, the schooner, run by a crew of 5 professional sailors, offers a wide range of cruises along the Atlantic coast, particularly in Brest harbor, departing from the Commandant Malbert quay.
Cruises lasting from a few hours to a few days: weekly, full-day, half-day or Sunset (evening).
The opportunity to sail on an old rig while taking part in onboard maneuvers.
La Recouvrance welcomes all types of guests of all ages: individuals, birthday parties, associations, groups, works councils, seminars and meetings.
